Denys Shortt, founder of DCS runs a 50 acre farm which is totally environmentally conscious. Denys breeds rare breed cattle - nearly made extinct during foot and mouth. The photo shows two Belted Galloway calves. Denys also owns the Enliven brand and since established has made sure all the products are not tested on animals or contain ingredients from animals. Denys has also planted over 2500 new trees on his land and is regenerating woodland. DCS Europe is also totally enviromentally aware. We have undertaken a review with the Carbon Trust and we aim to reduce our energy useage each year. Denys has invested over £10m into the DCS site on Timothy's Bridge Road to make sure it is a sustainable business for the future. |
