DCS Staff Dressed Down & made Red Nose themed cakes to raise a fantastic £840 for Comic Relief!

Feb 2013- Supporting Phab Kids

December 2012- DCS Donates over 1700 products to Crisis- supporting homeless people

In December 2012, DCS donated over 1700 products to Crisis, a charity which supports single Homeless people in the UK. The donation included essential Health & Beauty products such as deodorants, razors, shower gel, shampoo and dental kits. More information on the charity can be found here:

DCS Staff raised £450 for the Ehlers-Danlos Support Charity. EDS is a connective tissue disorder and it’s genetic. November 2012- DCS Donates to Troop Aid

DCS Europe donated just under 600 units of Enliven Toiletries  to Troop Aid in November 2012. The charity provides basic essentials to service casualties when they return to the UK from serving overseas and DCS was delighted to support the Birmingham based charity. September 2012- Raising Money for Macmillan at the 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'- £1154 raised!

DCS Staff took part in Macmillan's 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' in conjunction with a Dress Down Day and raised a total of £1154 for the charity! Staff with culinary skills made a fantastic range of sweet and savoury goodies that were gratefully bought by their colleagues.
 
 
 
 

August 2012- Raising Funds for the NHS Loss in Childbirth Fund at Warwick Hospital

DCS Europe staff raised £566 for the Loss in Childbirth Fund at Warwick Hospital. Employees had a Dress Down Day and also sold a selection of food to raise funds for Warwick Hospital.

 
 
 
 

July 2012- Fundraising for Molly

DCS held a Dress Down Day, Cake Sale and a Raffle to raise money for 'Molly's Mission' fund. The staff raised a fantastic £500 for Molly's fund.

2012 - DCS & Gillette sponsors 2012 Macride

DCS Europe based in Stratford-upon-Avon is sponsoring MACRIDE 2012 with Gillette as a key sponsor.

This is the second year DCS has sponsored this event.

June 2012- DCS Supports Shakespeare Hospice Moonlit Walk

On 23rd June, over 300 walkers will be setting off on a 10km walk around Stratford-upon-Avon to raise money for the  Shakespeare Hospice. DCS is delighted to be supporting the event for another year! April 2012- DCS donates products for Chemotherapy Packs

In April, DCS donated toiletry products to Respite and Recovery UK, a charity which provides chemotherapy packs to cancer patients to help them cope with the side effects of their treatment. We are delighed to hear from the charity that the products have been used in over 400 packs and have been well received by the patients. Jan 2012- DCS Support Coventry and Warwickshire Air Ambulance

£300 was raised to support the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance in January 2012.

The charity provides a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area. Their main purpose is to prevent loss of life, relieve sickness and aid recovery to those in need across the entire operating area. They provide an excellent service funded entirely by voluntary donations, driven by first class professionals and supported by an army of fantastic volunteers. 2011.09 DCS sponsors Macmillan MACRIDE event

Over 1000 riders turned out for the annual Macmillan Cancer Support cycling event - MACRIDE.

Denys Shortt, Founder of DCS Europe, was there to see the riders off at the start.

DCS helped sponsor the water for the event - thousands of bottles kindly supplier by ONE WATER.

DCS also arranged for Duracall and Gillette sponsorship to ensure all the riders had numbers on their bikes and a medal at the end. A huge thanks to Gillette.

10 riders took part from DCS and we hope to increase that next year.

Macride raises a massive £50,000 each year it is held - all thanks to Rob Gullen the organiser.

2011.06 DCS raises £4500 for cancer charities

DCS Europe - the Stratford-upon-Avon based health and beauty brands distributor - has managed to raise a huge £4500 for Charity in the Lions Raft Race.

This was the first time DCS has entered the race and organiser Will Franklin of DCS Manufacturing managed to get three DCS rafts competing.

To add to the excitement two BBC presenters joined the DCS rafts to race eachother. The programme filmed for CBBC will be aired next year.

Denys Shortt CEO of DCS commented "our crews had no idea of what hard work it is to row five hours on a heavy raft - we are very proud of them"

"All in all a great day and great fun - the Lions are to be commended for running such a superb event."

2011 - DCS supplies 3600 air essentials packs to Heroes

Denys Shortt - CEO of DCS Europe plc has agreed to provide over three thousand air-essentials gift bags to wounded troops for the next twelve months.

At Christmas DCS working with Help for Heroes supplied over 300 air-essentials bags for wounded troops returning from abroad. The project was a such great success that DCS has agreed to continue for the next year.

DCS has received the support of leading suppliers such as Colgate, P&G and Unilever and also provide their own "Made in England" Enliven products in the gift bags.

DCS brings Christmas Cheer to The Shakespeare Hospice

Stratford-upon-Avon based company DCS Europe have demonstrated their support for The Shakespeare Hospice and the community it serves by donating ‘Enliven' Christmas gift bags containing health and beauty products for all Hospice patients and Hospice staff.

In total more than 150 gifts were donated and these presents will be greatly appreciated by Hospice patients and staff alike.
